AceShowbiz - On Friday, September 27, Billie Eilish unveiled the video for "Birds of a Feather," the latest single from her critically acclaimed album "Hit Me Hard and Soft". Directed by Aidan Zamiri, the video features Eilish calmly navigating an abandoned office building, her movements manipulated by an unseen force.
As she sings about her overwhelming emotions, Eilish's arms jerk around as if controlled by invisible strings. Unfazed, she smiles and spins in her chair before being dragged through different rooms of the building. The haunting lyrics, "I'll love you until the day that I die," take on a deeper meaning as Eilish shatters a glass room, fragmenting her glasses.
"Birds of a Feather" marks the third music video from "Hit Me Hard and Soft", following "Chihiro" and "Lunch." Rolling Stone praised the album as "something uniquely strange," singling out "Birds of a Feather" as a "poignant Eighties-flavored love song."
Eilish is set to kick off her "Hit Me Hard and Soft" World Tour on Sunday, September 29 in Quebec. The tour will span North America, Australia, and Europe, with three sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden from October 16 to 18. On October 19, Eilish will return to "Saturday Night Live" as a musical guest alongside host Michael Keaton.
