AceShowbiz - Lance Bass has revealed a bombshell moment he overheard that could have changed the course of NSYNC's history. On "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," Bass shared an incident from their 2002 "Celebrity Tour" with Sean "P. Diddy" Combs as the opening act.
According to Bass, during the final show in Orlando, he overheard Diddy telling Timberlake, "You need to drop these f***ers. You need to go solo. You need to drop [them]."
Bass admitted he had always "never liked" Diddy and resented his alleged advice. "I was like, 'I don't like you anymore, Diddy. At my own show? What the hell!'"
Timberlake did eventually left NSYNC and launched his solo career, leading to the group's indefinite hiatus. However, they recently reunited to release "Better Place" and contribute to Timberlake's new album.
Bass also teased an upcoming NSYNC reunion tour. "We'd be stupid not to do something," he said. "Just hold your breath a little longer." However, bandmate Joey Fatone has suggested that a reunion tour could be challenging due to differing perspectives among the members.
Meanwhile, Diddy' career has taken a dark turn. He was arrested last week on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and remains in federal custody with no bond.
Bass's revelation sparked speculation that Diddy' advice may have influenced Timberlake's decision to leave NSYNC.
Despite the odds, fans remain hopeful for the possibility of an NSYNC reunion. Bass's comments and the band's recent collaborations have fueled the excitement and left fans eager to see the boy band perform together once again.
