AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift is seemingly taking a week off from watching her boyfriend's games. The pop superstar, who has been a familiar face in the Kansas City Chiefs game since the last season amid her romance with Travis Kelce, appears to skip his team's game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, September 22.
The 34-year-old singer/songwriter missed the kickoff of the game on Sunday night and there were no sightings of the Grammy winner at Mercedes-Benz Stadium during the first quarter. She doesn't appear to be in The Big Peach either.
While many NFL fans and Swifties were likely disappointed by the singer's absence from tonight's game, she previously cheered on Travis at the Chiefs' first two games of the season. She supported her beau during the games against the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals.
Taylor's no-show at the latest game comes after she was spotted enjoying a girls' night out with her longtime BFF Gigi Hadid in New York City. On Saturday, the two beauties stepped out to have dinner at The Corner Store restaurant.
The ladies went coordinated in fall-colored outfits. Taylor bared her abs and showed off her legs in a black long-sleeved crop top paired with Ramy Brook's Derrick pleated plaid miniskirt, which was cinched on the waist with a brown belt. She accessorized her look with heeled boots by Vivienne Westwood, the Brown Frayme Scale-Embossed Bag by Stella McCartney and several necklaces, including a gold choker with her initials in the middle.
Gigi was effortlessly stylish in a long, brown trench coat, a white top and beige trousers. The 29-year-old model finished her look with gold jewelry and a yellow leather handbag by Jacquemus.
Taylor, who is currently on break from her sold-out "Eras Tour", was recently reported to be planning to attend as many as Chiefs games as possible in this season. "She'll be cheering him on from the VIP suite," insiders told RadarOnline.com. The Chiefs will take on the Chargers in Los Angeles next weekend and there's a chance she will make it out to the upcoming game.
Taylor and Travis have also made some arrangements when she hits the road for the second installment of U.S. "Eras Tour" in October. She's reportedly promised to fly back to the tight end as often as possible and when she's unable to, they'll have FaceTime calls to keep them connected.
A source added, "They'll be doing lots of texting and calling too, but Taylor likes to see Travis in real time. She likes to know where he is and who he's with. It's not that she doesn't trust him, she just wants to feel connected."
