AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez may be writing new music amid her divorce from Ben Affleck. It has been reported that the "On the Floor" hitmaker will reveal the "real story" behind their separation in her upcoming album.

On Tuesday, September 17, The U.S. Sun claimed that the 55-year-old singer/actress "is ready to record a heartbreak album." Speaking to the media outlet, a source spilled that the forthcoming record will be her "most emotional yet."

The source told the outlet, "This album is going to be all about heartbreak. Fans are going to get the real story through her music." While making a reference to Justin Timberlake's hit about his breakup from fellow singer Britney Spears, the source continued, "Jen really wants that 'Cry Me A River'-type ballad."

On the reason why Jennifer is still working amid the painful divorce from the actor, the insider said that working helps her get through the hard time. Noting that Jennifer "is doing well," the insider shared, "She needs to be working. She's happiest when she's working."

In contrast, a second informant insisted that the singer "is not working on a new album." Instead, it was said that "her upcoming movie is her main priority." Referring to her new movie titled "Unstoppable", the informant stated that she is "focused on this next film coming out."

The alleged new album would be Jennifer's tenth studio album, following her latest set titled "This Is Me... Now", which serves as a sequel to her third studio album "This Is Me... Then". Her latest record was launched on February 16, marking the first time she unveiled an album in ten years since "A.K.A.".

"This Is Me... Now" features 13 songs, including "Greatest Love Story Never Told", "Midnight Trip to Vegas", "Dear Ben, Pt. II", "Can't Get Enough", "Mad in Love" and "To Be Yours". Jennifer also unleashed a deluxe edition of the record that has 3 songs, "Can't Get Enough" (Bruno Martini remix), "Can't Get Enough" featuring Latto (Mulatto) and "Rebound" featuring Anuel AA.
