AceShowbiz - Despite starring in the popular "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies, Orlando Bloom's Hollywood Walk of Fame star came as a surprise to his fiancee, Katy Perry. "Wait, he has a star? When did this happen?" Perry exclaimed while on a radio broadcast with Ellen K.

Perry admitted that she and Bloom had never visited his star, which is located in a prime location near the Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum and the TCL Chinese Theater.

Although Bloom received his star in 2014, two years before he and Perry started dating, Perry joked, "Is he a big deal? No, just kidding."

Perry's knowledge gap can be forgiven as Bloom was honored with the star before they began their relationship. The ceremony included attendees such as Pirates producer Jerry Bruckheimer, actor Forest Whitaker and Bloom's son from a previous relationship.

While Perry has yet to receive her own star, she has participated in other honorees' ceremonies, including introducing Minnie Mouse and presenting Capitol Records with their anniversary star.

In other news, Bloom surprisingly referred to Perry by her real name, Katheryn Hudson, at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. "I fell in love with her as Katheryn Hudson," he said in his speech.

This revelation shocked many fans on social media, who were unaware that Perry's birth name was not Katy Perry.

Fans also learned that Bloom and Perry's relationship was almost over before they attended The Hoffman Institute, a week-long intensive therapy retreat. "It saved my life," Perry said of the experience. The couple now shares a daughter named Daisy Dove.
