During an appearance on the "Elvis Duran Show", Perry was shown the "clickbait" photo, which shows Bloom standing behind Kardashian and seemingly glancing at her body.
"I approve," Perry said with a smile, expressing her lack of concern. "So wait, what's the controversy?" she asked, confused by the attention the photo had received. The radio host replied that there was no controversy, which Perry jokingly acknowledged by saying, "Oh great! Count that click, honey!"
The photo, which was taken at the Kering Foundation's Caring for Women Dinner in New York City, shows Perry and Bloom dressed to the nines, with Perry in a sparkling blue gown and Bloom in a tuxedo. Kardashian was also present at the event, wearing a figure-hugging Balenciaga dress. Despite the viral photo, other images from the night show Bloom clearly attentive to Perry, including a romantic kiss on the red carpet.
Perry recently opened up about her relationship with Bloom on Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast, revealing that they have been engaged since 2019 and share a four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove. She also discussed how couple's therapy has helped strengthen their bond and evolve as individuals.
"Orlando and I, we do a lot of couple's therapy and we want to evolve," she said. "That's why we're in this relationship - to become better humans so that we can raise this amazing human being."
