Actor-turned-venture capitalist Ashton Kutcher gets honest about his parenting as a father of two children, daughter Wyatt and son Dimitri, with wife Mila Kunis.

AceShowbiz - Actor Ashton Kutcher explains what has influenced his parenting approach towards his daughter and son. In an episode of the "Throwbacks" podcast, Kutcher discussed the differences in his parenting styles with his 9-year-old daughter Wyatt and 7-year-old son Dimitri.
Regarding Wyatt, Kutcher said, "I had never been so in love in my entire life. I've never loved anyone this much ever." He attributed his protectiveness of her to her being his first child.
Kutcher acknowledged the role of "toxic masculinity" in his differential treatment of his children, noting that his son has a different level of encouragement than his daughter.
With Dimitri, Kutcher admitted to encouraging more risky activities, saying, "I'm always like, 'Yeah, let's go for it.' " He noted that when his son cries, he tells him to move on and learn from it.
"My daughter, I just want to protect her," he went on. "When my daughter cries, my heart is out of my body and I can't put it back in."
Mila Kunis, Kutcher's wife, also shows similar parenting patterns, being stricter with Wyatt and more affectionate with Dimitri. Kutcher believes this balance helps them navigate parenting.
