AceShowbiz - On Tuesday, September 3, Lil Wayne officially announced the long-awaited Hot Boys reunion at his annual Lil' WeezyAna Fest, scheduled for November 2 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. The iconic rap group, consisting of Lil Wayne, Juvenile, B.G. and Turk, will headline the festival alongside producer Mannie Fresh and rapper Rob49.
Presale tickets are already available, with general public tickets going on sale on September 6.
Rumors of a Hot Boys reunion have been circulating for months, initially sparked by Juvenile's May announcement of their planned performance at Essence Fest. However, fans were left disappointed when Wayne performed a separate set at the festival while his former bandmates took the stage without him.
Despite the setbacks, the Hot Boys are now poised for their official return. The group's last album "Let 'Em Burn" was released in 2003 and has remained a hip-hop classic.
The WeezyAna Fest, produced by Young Money Entertainment, DMANI and Live Nation Urban, is a celebration of New Orleans' vibrant music scene. Past editions have featured surprise appearances from artists like Drake and Nicki Minaj. This year's festival is expected to draw a massive crowd eager to witness the historic Hot Boys reunion.
The Hot Boys' reunion has been hampered by past conflicts within the Cash Money camp. However, the upcoming performance at Lil' WeezyAna Fest suggests that the group has overcome its obstacles and is ready to deliver a memorable experience for their loyal fans.
