AceShowbiz - Katherine Langford's cameo as Morgan Stark, Tony Stark's daughter, was originally cut from "Avengers: Endgame." However, recent rumors suggest that she could return to the MCU to reprise her role or a variant of it.
A deleted scene from "Avengers: Endgame" revealed an older version of Morgan, played by Langford, meeting her father in the soul world after his sacrifice.
In the comics, Tony Stark's daughter, known as Ironheart, eventually takes up his mantle as Iron Man. With the multiverse playing a significant role in upcoming MCU films, Langford could potentially play a Morgan Stark variant from a different Earth and become the successor to Iron Man on that Earth.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Robert Downey Jr., who played Tony Stark the previous phases of MCU, will return to the franchise as Dr. Doom. Known as a classic Fantastic Four villain, the baddie is expected to appear in "Avengers: Doomsday" and "Avengers: Secret Wars."
It's important to note that the rumors surrounding Katherine Langford's casting have not been officially confirmed by Marvel Studios. Until further announcements are made, they should be treated as speculation. However, the possibility of Langford returning to the MCU is certainly intriguing and could add depth to the ever-expanding Marvel cinematic universe.
