AceShowbiz - Angelina Jolie's relationship status has been revealed amid her latest dating rumors. The Oscar-winning actress sparked romance rumors with British rapper Akala after they were spotted together in Venice, Italy, but that apparently couldn't be further from the truth.

Sources clarified to TMZ on Thursday, August 29 that the actress and the rapper are not dating and they are just friends. In fact, Akala has a girlfriend, a woman named Chanelle, who was with him and Angelina when they were photographed in Venice, but she was cropped out of the paparazzi photos.

The Hollywood star, who has been in Italy for the Venice Film Festival to promote her new movie "Maria", is said to be friendly with Chanelle and all three of them have known each other for years. The sources close to the actress insist that she's not dating anyone right now and is keeping her focus on her family and her career.

Previously, In Touch claimed that Angelina was seeing not just one, but two different men at the same time. She has reportedly gotten close to Akala and Tony winner Justin Levine for "the past year of so."

"Angelina has been seeing two different men over the past year or so," a source told the outlet. "They're totally different men, but she's falling for both of them."

Of Angelina's alleged relationship with Akala, the source revealed that the London native met up with the actress and her daughters Zahara, 19, and Shiloh, 18, at the Calabash Literary Festival in Jamaica in May 2023. "He was very protective of them as he shepherded them around," a witness said at the time.

They reportedly reconnected six months later as the two had dinner together in Milan. "I think a large part of her attraction to Akala, beyond the physical, is seeing him interact with her kids because that is so important to her," the source dished. "They connect over their interest in activism and share a passion for travel and discovering different cultures. It's been a long time since she's felt this kind of attraction."

At the same time, the mother six reportedly also "adores" Justin, who co-wrote the book and score for "The Outsiders", which she produced. "Angie just adores Justin, and they've been spending so much time together that a lot of people think the relationship could turn romantic," the source dished.

The source went on claiming, "For years, Angelina didn't even think of dating. Not only was she heartbroken and traumatized by the divorce, but she was determined to focus on herself, her health and her children. It's taken her a long time to get here, but Angelina is slowly opening herself up to new relationships."
