AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt makes sure to keep himself surrounded with positive spirits amid his estrangement from his children. The Hollywood star has been spotted flying to Italy to hang with his longtime friend George Clooney as his daughter Shiloh Jolie has officially dropped her dad's famous last name.
Eyewitnesses tell Page Six that the 60-year-old actor was seen arriving via private jet in Milan over the weekend. The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" star was overheard telling a private greeter at Linate Airport that he was "headed to Lake Como to visit Clooney and his wife, Amal," one of the sources claimed.
The informant further spilled that the two-time Oscar winner was solo without his girlfriend Ines de Ramon. He reportedly "wore a beige bucket hat, aviator glasses, a navy, casual jacket and blue jeans and sneakers" upon his landing in Italy.
The actor allegedly was flanked by "a team of security guards" as he "rushed through passport control and practically jogged past bystanders who had gathered to see him." The source said, "One of the guards approached several groups of people hanging out, and said, 'Are you all supposed to be here?' " as "Pitt ran by and into a waiting Range Rover."
A black Mercedes wagon apparently followed and "in mere minutes he came and went," said the spy.
By the time Brad is hanging out with his BFF George in Italy, his biological daughter Shiloh, whom he shares with his ex Angelina Jolie, was already granted her name change request without a formal hearing. The change was finalized by a judge who signed off on the petition. Her initial hearing was originally scheduled for July, but it was postponed due to an incomplete background check, a clerical error noted by her lawyer Peter Levine.
The 18-year-old, who filed the request on her birthday in May, now legally goes by Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. "Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself, so Angie doesn't know and can't speak for it," an insider told Entertainment Tonight, highlighting Shiloh's independence and determination.
Brad was reportedly aware and distressed by his daughter's decision. "After years of legal battles, Brad still isn't ready to give up on his children," a source previously revealed to Us Weekly. "But knowing his children are dropping his last name is upsetting."
