AceShowbiz - Tyler, The Creator sat down for a wide-ranging interview with Maverick Carter. In a new episode of "Mavericks with Mav Carter", the "Flower Boy" artist talked about obsessive fans and hackers among other things.

Tyler shared in the episode that he's not a huge fan of the Internet culture that somehow allowed fans to behave overly obsessive. "Because you like a song, or because you like a movie, that gives you permission to be a f**kin' weirdo?" he asked.

Further calling out overly-obsessive fans, the "IGOR" emcee added, "They wanna know who your sister is, and like what you ate for dinner, like mind your f**king business, go the f**k outside and listen to the damn art or the music. Like mmm."

"Because of the internet, people don't know personal boundaries no more and its normalized and everyone thinks this s**t is cute, it's like 'we don't know each other,' " he continued, adding that it seemed like fans wanted more than music. The hip-hop star later pointed out how they're "showing up to doorsteps... hacking this... [and] following n***as' moms home because [they] like a song."

Elsewhere in the interview, Tyler also commented on new rappers who don't love making music, urging them to stop taking up spaces. "I don't want to seem like a hater," the "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" spitter began. "Sometimes I have hater energy because I think I'm that good."

Tyler then expressed his deep love for the art form before criticizing new rappers that are only in the industry for a bag. "It's so many n***as out right now that aren't musicians that are getting treated like musicians because they make meme records," he divulged. "They'll publicly be like 'I don’t give a f**k about music I just do this s**t for money.' "

The musician noted that he didn't condemn this mindset entirely, but he pointed out how it negatively affects artists who truly care about the craft. "When every publication is like, 'Hell yeah, let's put that out,' now you're taking up space for n***as like me," he lamented.
