AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck may reunite on red carpet sooner or later despite their imminent divorce. Rumor has it that the pair won't dodge a joint appearance for their upcoming film, though it will likely create an "awkward" situation for them.

J.Lo is starring in wrestling biopic "Unstoppable (2024)", which recently unveiled its first-look photos. The movie is produced by Ben and his longtime buddy Matt Damon under their Artists Equity production company. As the film is set to premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival in September, the two best friends are expected to be at the event, and so is J.Lo as the female lead.

Despite their rumored marital woes, J.Lo and Ben are said to be still committed to the film and will do anything to promote it. " 'Unstoppable' is a tricky one because Ben and Matt are so invested in its success, even if everything you see indicates that Ben and Jennifer are ending their marriage," a source tells RadarOnline.com.

The so-called insider notes that promoting "Unstoppable" will likely create an "awkward" and unavoidable situation for J.Lo and Ben. The informant adds, "Teaming up to promote it seems unlikely. They want to be professional about it. They still believe in it and don't want to see it fail, but it's an awkward position."

In "Unstoppable", J.Lo stars as Judy, the mother of Anthony Robles (Jharrel Jerome), a wrestler born with one leg. The movie, based on the real-life story of Anthony, also features Bobby Cannavale as Robles' father, Michael Pena as Coach Bobby Williams, and Don Cheadle as wrestling coach Shawn Charles.

J.Lo and Ben, who have been living separately for months now, have not officially filed for divorce despite allegedly having finalized it. It's recently reported that they are likely to make the divorce announcement by the end of the summer.
