AceShowbiz - Gina Gershon, who co-starred with Tom Cruise in the 1988 film "Cocktail" recently revealed on "Watch What Happens Live" that her love scene with Cruise was her first ever. She also shared a surprising anecdote from the shoot: she accidentally kneed Cruise in the nose while filming a scene.
"I told him I was very ticklish," Gershon recalled. "And in one take, I have to say, I think he wanted a reaction, he grabbed my stomach and I kneed him right in the nose." To Gershon's relief, Cruise took it in stride, saying, "No, no, you told me."
Despite the mishap, Gershon praised Cruise for being protective and supportive throughout the filming process. "He was great," she said.
As for rumors of an off-screen hookup between Cruise and Gershon, the actress remained tight-lipped. "Oh my God, do you think I would actually answer that?" she quipped. She did admit, however, that they shared plenty of on-screen kisses.
Cruise's reputation for performing his own stunts has led to numerous injuries over the years. In a surprising twist, he is rumored to be planning a skydiving stunt during the closing ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics. The stunt reportedly involves rappelling from the top of the Stade de France and then skydiving to the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles.
