The former star of "The Real Housewives of New York City" attended the star-studded premiere of "It Ends with Us" on August 6. Clad in a pink Dolce & Gabbana corset dress, Frankel hoped for a flawless evening, but instead, she encountered a series of wardrobe malfunctions and a downpour.

Sharing the behind-the-scenes chaos on Instagram the following day, Frankel detailed her "disastrous" evening. "My strap of my dress came off. I was in the rain. My shoes that are gorgeous are soaked," she lamented as she held up the detached strap in a video. "The wheels are off. I can't go out. This is why nobody takes me anywhere. It's a frickin' disaster."

The Skinny Girl founder's post included images of herself trying to dodge the rain with a pink shawl draped over her head. Yet, Frankel maintained her humor, captioning the photos, "Perfectly unhinged."

In a TikTok video prior to the premiere, Frankel gave fans a breakdown of her ensemble. "This dress is Dolce & Gabbana. I've had it for easily five years and it's been waiting for its moment and I thought it was giving Blake Lively," she explained, highlighting her pink floral Giuseppe Zanotti heels and sparkling Audemars Piguet watch.

Blake Lively, who plays the lead role of florist Lily Bloom in the movie, also drew attention with her fashion choice, appearing in a vintage Versace gown previously worn by Britney Spears in 2002. "It is Britney's actual dress," Lively exclusively told PEOPLE. "It should be in the Smithsonian or the Met. But it's on me. I feel so lucky!"
