AceShowbiz - Get ready for the ultimate summer anthem as LISA and Rosalia team up for the release of their single, "New Woman," on August 15 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. P.T. The release date was unveiled via Instagram, where the superstars shared the captivating cover art for the track, showcasing them in racetrack-inspired outfits while sitting in lawn chairs.
Earlier this week, LISA began teasing the collaboration with a TikTok video featuring a snippet of the track sung by her pink-haired alter ego. The lyrics hint at a Y2K-inspired beat with Spanglish verses, "Bangin' it, bangin' it, wanna crack these walls/ Bangin' it, bangin' it, wanna echo through the halls/ Pullin' up, fresh face, brand new dia."
The collaboration comes on the heels of LISA's successful solo debut with "Rockstar", which marked her first release since signing with RCA Records to support her solo endeavors. The single marked LISA's first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and debuted in the Top 70 on the Billboard Hot 100.
LISA's partnership with RCA Records allows her to retain ownership of her master recordings, giving her greater control over her solo career. The singer expressed her excitement about joining the label in April, stating, "I am confident they are the best team to create a bigger movement in my solo career."
