AceShowbiz - On July 29, Pax Jolie-Pitt was riding his e-bike in Los Angeles when he rear-ended a vehicle stopped at a red light. Paramedics transported him to a local hospital with a severe head injury, but he remained conscious and alert.
Lola Cavalli, one of the first people to assist Pax, described his injuries at the scene to ET. She observed blood in his mouth but no apparent broken bones or severe bleeding. Cavalli, following instructions from a 911 operator, attempted to stop the bleeding but found it difficult to locate due to the head injury.
Pax was initially admitted to the intensive care unit with stable condition. Over the weekend, he was released and is now beginning a long road of recovery and physical therapy.
Angelina Jolie has been by her son's side during his recovery, assisted by his siblings. The family has expressed gratitude for the prompt and life-saving response of first responders and the outstanding medical care Pax received.
Pax is one of the six children adopted or born to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The couple shares three biological children: Shiloh, 18, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15. They also adopted Maddox, 22, from Cambodia, Zahara, 19, from Ethiopia, and Pax from Vietnam. Despite their divorce in 2016, both Jolie and Pitt have remained committed to the well-being of their children.
