AceShowbiz - Azealia Banks is publicly showing her support for Donald Trump for the upcoming election. The BET Award-nominated artist has shown up at a rally at one of the former president's resorts in Miami, Florida and her interaction with at least one fellow Trump supporter was documented.

Music promoter Jake Inphamous, who was also in attendance, shared via Instagram footage from the event that took place on Tuesday, July 10. In the clip, Jake showed him and the R&B star standing side-by-side among the crowd as they listened to Trump talking about preventing America and the world from going into "World War III."

"Donald Trump invited Azealia Banks and I to talk about 'Hispanic jobs,' " Jake wrote in the caption of the post, which also included footage of the singer struggling to explain why she's actually there. "He even posted us," he boasted.

Azealia's appearance at the rally confused social media users since she often changed her mind about her political stance. "Looks like behind the stage, all the trumpets like, what she doing here," one person quipped after seeing the video.

"Why is SHE THEREEEE?!" a second user asked. "She's really unwell and a mess. She don't know what she wants to do. Didn't she criticize [Kanye West] for this same thing?" a third weighed in.

"Azealia is just trolling she doesn't really support Trump lol," someone argued. "He must've helped her pay her rent," a fifth speculated, referring to recent reports that Azealia was evicted from her Florida home over unpaid rent.

"Trust me she was there for the free food and hat," another claimed, as one other similarly opined, "She just tryna raise money because she was just evicted.. she need a maga shelter.." Someone else theorized, "this one dont surprise anyone azelia always had a weird 'i wish i was white' kinda vibe goin….and just a very negative personality. Trump actually fits her brand perfectly."

In the past few year, Azealia has gone back and forth about supporting Trump. In 2016, she expressed her endorsement of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, but later retracted her endorsement, posting on Facebook, "I made a major mistake endorsing toupey-toupee. Women's rights are important and we must protect them." Nonetheless, after Trump won the presidency, she posted, "He is my f**king hero right now. I am elated."

In 2021, the 33-year-old called for Trump denaturalization for inciting the Capitol riot. "I despise Joe Biden and do believe the election was stolen, 100%. But what happened at the capitol was ghetto as f**k and we cannot be having the President inciting violence in that way," she wrote at the time. "To be fair, he should have been denaturalized when he said 'when the looting starts, the shooting starts' bulls**t."

In November 2023, she revealed her plans to vote for Trump, citing his resiliency and sense of humor as deciding factors. "He's just f**king funny," she told The Standard. "He's been through how many bankruptcies? How many wives? How many television shows? Seriously, nothing can take him down."
