A sneak peek of Vanessa Williams' portrayal of the iconic fashion editor has fans buzzing as she's gearing up for the upcoming stage adaptation of 'The Devil Wears Prada'.

AceShowbiz - In a captivating Instagram video, Vanessa Williams emerges as Miranda Priestly, the formidable editor-in-chief of Runway magazine. Clad in a sparkling red gown and matching trench coat, she exudes the arrogance and power of the legendary character.
Vanessa Williams, 60, was announced as the West End stage portrayal of Miranda in February. The musical will debut at London's Dominion Theatre in October 2024. Joining her on stage will be Georgie Buckland as Andy, Amy Di Bartolomeo as Emily, James Darch as Christian, Rhys Whitfield as Nate, and Olivier winner Matt Henry as Nigel.
The "Devil Wears Prada" musical is based on Lauren Weisberger's 2003 novel and the 2006 film adaptation, which starred Meryl Streep as Miranda. The musical features music by Elton John, lyrics by Shaina Taub, and direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell.
In the Instagram video, Williams, who made her Broadway debut in 1994, struts into the fictional magazine's office, declaring, "Don't just sit there. Buy tickets, or something."
Fans are eagerly anticipating the musical's arrival in London, praising Williams' "almost satanic" portrayal of the iconic fashion queen. The show begins preview performances at the Theatre Royal Plymouth in London on July 6, running through August 17, before officially opening at the Dominion Theatre in October.
