AceShowbiz - Actress Jennifer Tilly is taking on a new challenge as she joins the cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH)" as a "friend" for season 14. In a recent interview on the "It Happened in Hollywood" podcast, Tilly shared her thoughts on the experience, saying it's "insane" and even "scarier than Chucky."

Tilly, known for her role as Tiffany Valentine in the 'Chucky' franchise, admitted that despite her experience battling vicious serial-killer dolls on screen, nothing compares to facing off against reality stars. "It's, like, scarier than Chucky. I'll tell you that," she said.

Despite the perceived danger, Tilly emphasized that she's not a full-time Housewife but rather a "friend," which offers a less demanding role. "You just dip in and out. You try to avoid, like, flying shrapnel. And you know, if drinks are thrown, I have good reflexes," she explained.

Tilly's decision to join "RHOBH" as a friend may have come after a bit of hesitation. According to co-star and longtime friend Gina Gershon, Bravo approached her but she declined due to fear. However, Gershon encouraged Tilly to embrace the opportunity, telling her, "You're gonna be genius on that. You'll take over that whole set, Jen."

For season 14, Tilly will join returning cast members Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke as well as newcomer Bozoma Saint John a.k.a. Boz. Kathy Hilton, sister of Kyle Richards, will also make a return as a friend. Meanwhile, Crystal Kung Minkoff and Annemarie Wiley have departed the show after three and one seasons, respectively.

Tilly's unique perspective and sharp wit will undoubtedly add to the drama and entertainment of the upcoming season of "RHOBH". Fans can catch her on the show when it premieres on Bravo and Peacock.
