AceShowbiz - Tom Cruise, the 62-year-old Hollywood actor, appeared in London on Thursday, July 4 with a visible hand injury. As he disembarked his helicopter at Battersea helipad, his right knuckle was grazed and pink. However, the injury seemed to be healing, and its origin remains unknown.
Despite the pain, Cruise appeared upbeat as he exited the helicopter, giving a thumbs-up and smiling. He was sporting a navy jumper, dark blue denim jeans, and his signature shades.
The injury occurred as Cruise was shooting scenes for "Mission Impossible 8" at Longcross Studios. He is known for performing his own stunts and has a passion for flying.
Cruise was joined by his director, Christopher McQuarrie, and his wife, Heather, upon his arrival. His sister, Marian, also accompanied him on the helicopter trip.
Cruise has a close relationship with his siblings, despite their differing career paths. His sister Cass Capazorio is a director for a Scientology-related company while Lee Anne Gillotte works at the luxury Skyview building where the family reportedly resides.
In a previous interview, Cruise described his childhood as traumatic, with an abusive father. However, his mother, Mary Lee, was a source of love and support for him and his sisters.
