Hart shared a joyful photo on Instagram, captioning it, "Hanging out with this dear friend @moonfrye during some much appreciated Tahoe time! Our happy place!"
In other Instagram posts, Hart shared highlights of their holiday adventures, including swimming in the lake, horseplay in the Truckee River, and a relaxing beach day. She also humorously shared a photo of a decapitated bear-shaped toilet paper holder, jokingly reporting a "terrible crime."
Their reunion comes amidst a bittersweet time for the "Sabrina" cast. Shortly before their Tahoe getaway, their co-star, Martin Mull, who played Principal Willard Kraft, passed away at age 80. Hart paid tribute to Mull, saying, "His work ethic was only matched by his love for everyone he encountered. I'll always remember how he told me he took every job that came his way because in this business you never know when it's your last job."
Despite her iconic role as Sabrina, Hart has expressed that she didn't identify strongly with the character. However, she acknowledged the costume changes and whimsical storylines as making the experience enjoyable.
Frye recently paid tribute to her ex-boyfriend and lifelong friend Shifty Shellshock, the lead singer of Crazytown, who passed away in June. She fondly recalled their love and his impact on her life.
The "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" cast remains close, having reunited at 90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut, in March 2023, and celebrating the show's 25th anniversary in 2021.
