AceShowbiz - Earlier this year, Taylor Dome, 27, experienced a horrifying ordeal when she discovered a hard lump on her breast while showering. The discovery sent shivers down her spine, especially considering her family's history with cancer.

"I literally just stood in the shower and completely froze," she recalled on "The Squeeze" podcast. "Feeling something that is foreign in your body, especially there, it was terrifying."

Her husband, Taylor Lautner, 32, was alarmed when he came home to find his wife sobbing and devastated. "You were acting different, but sad," he said. "You weren't saying much."

After seeking professional help, Tay underwent an ultrasound at a breast center. To her relief, the doctor reassured her that everything was clear and that the lump was likely caused by hormonal fluctuations or tissue movement. The lump remains, but Tay emphasizes that it's a reminder for women to prioritize self-examinations.

Along with her breast health scare, Tay also experienced a depressive state and anxiety attacks. She attributed this to forgetting to take her birth control pills. "I was literally, like, withdrawing from this birth control because my hormones have been on this thing for ten years," she said.

Tay urges others to be aware of post-birth control syndrome, a condition with symptoms that can manifest after discontinuing hormonal contraceptives. She emphasizes the importance of self-care and seeking medical guidance when feeling unwell.

Despite the scares, Tay is grateful for the health lessons she has learned. "We're lumpy, but we're healthy," she declared. "Ladies, check this as your reminder to do the self-examination in the shower."
