AceShowbiz - Matt Rife and Jessica Lord have gone their separate ways. If a new report is to be believed, the stand-up comedian and the "Find Me in Paris" star broke up earlier this year.

Revealing the news about the 28-year-old and his then-girlfriend's relationship status was TMZ. Sources told the outlet that the former couple split back in March. The breakup was amicable though.

Since the split, sources claimed that the "Bring the Funny" alum has not been dating as he's focusing on his stand-up tour. It's unclear if his dancer ex is seeing anyone.

Matt and Jessica began seeing each other in June 2023, so the romance ended just after nine months. They had originally met in Mississippi in 2022, but the actress had a boyfriend at the time.

Matt, who was previously linked to actress Lucy Hale, once revealed to Esquire that he "kind of [hates] dating]." He told the publication in an April interview, "I know I am just in my mid-to-late 20s, but still, I do want a wife and a family and a prominent home life that makes me feel comfortable, safe, and is my peace."

"But when I'm touring six days a week, 52 weeks out of the year, it's incredibly hard to maintain a relationship," he continued. "I do meet women who are fantastic human beings that I'm like, 'Wow, you're such a lovely person. You're beautiful. You're sweet, you're kind, you'd be an excellent mother and excellent wife, excellent girlfriend, you check all these boxes, but I might not be in a position right now to fulfill your needs as a responsible boyfriend.' "

"So I wonder if I am missing out on wonderful people, you know?" the funnyman further elaborated. "I think there's an insecurity of like, 'What can life be like at home in the next five years?' "
