Hailey Welch, known as the 'Hawk Tuah' girl, has addressed rumors surrounding her employment and personal life while also discussing her future aspirations.

In an interview on the "Plan Bri Uncut" podcast, Welch clarified, "I worked in a [bed] spring factory. I'm not a school teacher. I'm not even old enough to be a teacher."

She also denied claims that she worked as a bartender in Nashville and that her father was a preacher. "My father is so far from a preacher, it's crazy," she stated. "None of it's true at all."

Welch expressed gratitude for the support of her family and friends during her newfound fame. "They think it's so funny," she said of her parents' reaction to her interview. "They know how I am though because you can never tell what comes out of my mouth."

Despite her viral status, Welch aims to build a career beyond being known as the "Hawk Tuah" girl. "I don't really want that to be my image," she shared. "I hope there is more to come."
