AceShowbiz - Tina Knowles has shared with the world how much she is proud of Blue Ivy. Upon learning of her granddaughter's BET Award win, the mother of Beyonce Knowles publicly showered Blue with praise.
On Monday, July 1, the 70-year-old entrepreneur made use of her Instagram page to gush over Blue, who turned 12 years old months prior. In the caption of her new post, she wrote, "Congratulations my Blue Blue! I marvel at your talent your beauty your intelligence but I am most proud of your kindness and down to earth attitude."
Tina went on to remind Blue to "never attention seeking , just cool and chill as a cucumberr all the time." She recalled, "Yesterday you played the piano for just me like someone who has been taking lessons for years . But you are self taught . One day I hope you will let me post it and brag like other grandmas get to do . But for now you made me swear to not share."
Tina further mentioned things that Blue are good at, "You play sports , play the piano ,dance like a pro in front of 80 k people. Paint like a fine artist ,draw so well , sing so beautifully . (Voice like an angel ) . Voiced an award winning , best selling children's book, You are also in a soon to come blockbuster movie Lion King," referring to "The Lion King" prequel "Mufasa: The Lion King".
"One of the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award," Tina continued. "And you turned only 12 years old a few months ago . And in spite of all the challenged adults who struggle with the green eyed monster disease , In true Carter/Knowles/Beyince tradition it just motivates you to keep it moving."
Concluding her lengthy message, Tina penned, "Congratulations BIC you deserve everything you work hard to get. Thank you BET #betawards for this honor." In the same post, she uploaded a photo of Blue looking stunning in a white dress that came with an off-the-shoulder design.
The post came one day after Blue, the daughter of Beyonce and her rapper husband Jay-Z, was honored with the YoungStars Award at the 2024 BET Awards. At the annual award show, which took place in Los Angeles on Sunday, Blue earned her second BET Award after winning the BET Her Award at age 8 in 2020.
