Addressing her critics, Eva stated, "to anyone scandalized by my breasts not being 'put away'...," and humorously added, "Feel free to screenshot this for later," superimposed on a zoomed-in shot of her chest, accompanied by a kissy face emoji.
The gown, a corseted masterpiece she acquired at Bridal Reflections in New York City, embodied a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern elegance. "I wanted to feel sexy but elegant, and I think the dress strikes the perfect balance," Eva shared. Complementing her gown was a dramatic veil that accentuated the glamour of her overall bridal look.
The wedding took place at Windrift Hall in New York's Hudson Valley, amidst an intimate gathering of 40 guests. Despite an unexpected downpour that necessitated last-minute changes, including a two-hour hairstyle change that went "moot," Eva embraced the weather as part of the day's charm. She humorously noted, "everyone's skin looked beautiful in the rain."
The couple's wedding theme centered around a French garden party aesthetic, with natural colors enhancing the whimsical yet earthy decor. Susan Sarandon, Eva's mother, perfectly matched the theme, donning a floral suit from SuitShop. The day was designed to be low-key and personal; Eva and Ian chose to exchange handwritten love letters as vows, making the ceremony incredibly special.
Eschewing a traditional bridal party, the couple had only Eva's children participating, with her son Major walking her down the aisle, a moment Eva described as unforgettable.
