AceShowbiz - Latto has continued shading Ice Spice amid their ongoing feud. After taking aim at her rival with a poop-themed cake, the "Sunday Service" raptress, who was formerly known as Mulatto, commented on the "Princess Diana" spitter's performance at the 2024 BET Awards.
On Sunday, June 30, both Latto and Ice made an appearance at the star-studded annual award show, which took place at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. Aside from attending, both of them took the stage separately.
Latto could not hold herself from commenting when Ice hit the stage. While Ice was belting out her single titled "Think You the S**t (Fart)", Latto was apparently watching the performance from backstage.
At that time, Latto seemingly was getting her hair ready with the help of a hairstylist. At one point, Latto stated, "B***h, I'm the stinkiest part you ever smelt, b***h," prompting other people around her to burst into laughter. Meanwhile, one of them said, "Oh my God."
The rare moment was documented in a video, which was later shared by a blog via Instagram. It did not take long for the short clip to be flooded with online responses from Instagram users. In the comments section, one in particular wrote, "They in the same building . Just run up."
Another assumed, "I like Latto but I really don't think Ice is worried about her. Do they even know why they don't like each other? Lol." A third asked, "Why she don't be putting this on the floor? Lol this is at least the second time they've been so close to each other and she ain't done nothing or said anything to her face. She's obviously peeved."
The beef began last year when Latto appeared unaware of Ice's "Bikini Bottom" hook during a red carpet interview. Ice later fired back with "Think U The Sh*t (Fart)", leading to Latto's clapback with "Sunday Service". Ice further escalated the rivalry with "Gimmie a Light".
Earlier in June, Latto shared a photo of a poop-themed cake celebrating her headlining performance at Atlanta's Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash. The caption read, "Think I'm the sh*t, b***h????," a direct reference to Ice's track "Think U The S**t (Fart)".
