On Sunday, June 30, the 24-year-old confirmed he'd popped the big question on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Taking to Instagram, he shared some pictures from the proposal, one of which showed them taking a selfie as the bride-to-be flashed her new ring.
In a second image, Nicolette beamed while posing in front of cliffs and the ocean, showing off her glittering pear-shaped ring again. Zach first wrote in the caption, "To the love of my life, I never truly understood what love was until I met you."
"You're not just my partner, but my best friend and my everything," the footballer continued gushing. "I can't wait to make a lifetime of memories with you, Nic. I love you."
Nicolette herself shared similar post on her own page. In the accompanying message, she raved, "Zach, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Everyday I admire your strength and i'm so incredibly proud of you. I'm so in love with you and can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together. i love you."
Zach and Nicolette have become an item since June 2022. The lovebirds were spotted publicly for the first time at a New York Yankees game that month.
The NFL star doesn't regularly post on social media. However, his now-fiancée has been offering fans glimpses at their dreamy vacation.
Last week, Nicolette shared a carousel of pictures from the tropical getaway. One of the snaps saw her posing in front of the Positano coastline while wearing a cream bandeau bikini top and patterned bottoms in one shot.
Other images displayed the couple on a boat, while further cute pictures showed them posing in front of a picturesque background up a cliff, among the array of snaps. In the caption, she simply penned, "a dream."
