AceShowbiz - Offset has caught some flak over his recent Instagram post amid rumors that Cardi B is expecting another child with him. The rapper has been accused of disrespecting his wife after he posted pictures of scantily-clad women on his Instagram page.
On Saturday, June 29, the former Migos star took to his social media page to promote some new merch. The photos feature some women rocking "rare" T-shirts and panties, showing their skin and voluptous figures. "She do what I say she gone fetch," he captioned the snaps.
Social media users quickly jumped on the comments section to express their distaste for Offset's Instagram post. An offended follower wrote, "If my husband posted this, I would be pissed! This is very disrespectful."
"How embarrassing," another upset fan wrote. Baffled, a third critic asked, "Out of all lines in the song, you chose this while you have a wife???" Another disappointed fan declared, "Let me unfollow. Another woman's pain would never be something i helped you promote. God bless Cardi and what she's going through."
One person felt sorry for Cardi B, writing, "It's so sad that Cardi is torturing herself with a bunch of surgeries to have the perfect body and her husband is showing off women with normal bodies with tummy and normal flaws..."
Others, however, have rushed to Offset's defense, claiming that people overreacted to his harmless post. "He's just promoting his brand. Calm down everything doesn't canter around his wife and kids," one of the supporters wrote. Another clapped back at the critics, "Y'all love making something out of nothing smh just like it's nothing new with y'all but doing the most."
Offset posted the photos one day after Cardi fueled her pregnancy rumors with her appearance at the BET Experience concert. On Friday night, the Grammy winner opted to wear a large jersey, which seemed to defer from her usual skimpy and revealing dresses, leading many to believe that she was hiding a baby bump.
Cardi's pregnancy rumors first surfaced in June. Media Take Out reported that Cardi and Offset were initially scheduled to announce the pregnancy that month, but they put their announcement on hold as Offset was caught in another cheating scandal.
Fans were more convinced that she might be having a bun in the oven following her appearance at the 2024 Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards. The Bronx femcee was dressed in a monochromatic black outfit. While she flaunted her ample cleavage in the plunging number, the dress covered her midsection.
At the event, the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker fired back at haters who speculated on her relationship with Offset. "They are always talking about 'Your husband. Your husband.' Shut up. I make more money than all the n***as you're f**king," she said when accepting the Inspiration Award.
