AceShowbiz - Also in February of this year, Darius Rucker made headlines after getting into legal trouble. The country singer was arrested and booked on three misdemeanor charges in Williamson County, Tennessee on Thursday, February 1. The Hootie & the Blowfish frontman's attorney Mark Puryear issued a statement, "Darius Rucker is fully cooperating with authorities related to misdemeanor charges," Darius' attorney Mark Puryear said.
Darius was arrested for two counts of simple possession/casual exchange of a controlled substance and one count of a violation of the state's vehicle registration law. He allegedly was driving with an expired registration tag. The 57-year-old was released shortly after he posted the $10,500 bail.
