The 'Land of Women' actress discusses her upcoming role on the Selena Gomez-starring series and shares her thoughts on a potential 'Desperate Housewives' reboot.

AceShowbiz - the fourth season of Hulu's "Only Murders in the Building". The actress, who will join an esteemed cast including Meryl Streep, Melissa McCarthy, Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis and Paul Rudd, described the experience as a "pinch-me moment."

"It's a really funny character," Longoria teased. "When you find out who I play, you're going to be like, 'That's perfect!' "

Longoria is best known for her portrayal of Gabrielle Solis in the popular ABC series "Desperate Housewives", which aired for eight seasons from 2004 to 2012. When asked about a potential reboot, Longoria expressed her eagerness to return to Wisteria Lane.

"Oh my God, yes! I would be the first to sign up for the reboot," she said. "I've told [showrunner] Marc Cherry a hundred times, 'Let's do it again. I miss Wisteria Lane. I miss the girls. I miss Gabby Solis. I miss being her.' "

However, Longoria acknowledged that her former castmates may not be as enthusiastic. "I think I'd be the only one to sign up," she admitted.

Reflecting on the show's legacy, Longoria praised the cast's hard work and dedication. "Back in the day, we used to shoot 24 episodes a season, and we did that for eight years," she said. "We fully mined those characters."

Longoria is currently starring in the Apple TV+ dramedy "Land of Women", which premiered on June 26. The series follows a New York socialite forced to confront her family secrets in a charming Spanish wine town. Longoria also serves as an executive producer on the show.
