Following their raunchy onscreen reunion, the 'Paperboy' co-stars are seen getting cozy at the event celebrating the launch of their newest film in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Nicole Kidman got cozy with co-star Zac Efron at the Sunset Tower Hotel Hollywood afterparty following the premiere of their new Netflix film, "A Family Affair", in LA on Thursday, June 13. The 56-year-old actress put on a chic blazer over her elegant pink gown after walking the red carpet in a dress with a corset-style bodice and a thigh-high slit.
Nicole and Zac, 36, reunite in this romantic comedy under the direction of Richard LaGravenese. In the racy romcom, they play lovers as the Aussie actress' character embarks on an affair with her daughter's movie star boss.
Zac looked smart at the afterparty in a grey checked blazer paired with matching trousers and a classic black t-shirt. Joey King, who plays Nicole's daughter Zara in the film, was also in attendance, stunning in an ethereal sheer ensemble.
The movie revolves around a "surprising" romance that "kicks off comic consequences for a young woman, her mother, and her movie star boss as they face the complications of love, sex, and identity."
The ensemble cast includes Kathy Bates, Olivia Macklin, Ian Gregg, Gissette Valentin, and many more. This isn't the first time Nicole and Zac have worked together; they co-starred in "The Paperboy" 12 years ago.
Zac previously shared his thoughts about the role with People magazine, saying, "I was still a bit apprehensive but reuniting with Nicole is always so great and as talented as she as an actress, she is equally kind, caring and wonderful to spend time with." He also described their on-screen chemistry as "seamless, natural, and fun," adding that "A Family Affair" tells "a really beautiful story."
During the premiere, he emphasized the importance of romcoms, "Romcoms are incredibly special, I think, when they're about something real." Joey King also praised the chemistry between her co-stars, saying, "They're both just so game for anything and so committed. They're both incredibly professional actors, who are just amazing at what they do, and they actually enjoy each other in real life."
The trio posed on the red carpet earlier in the evening, with Zac showing off a shorter and darker hairstyle and showcasing his rugged side with facial hair. Nicole styled her blonde hair in bouncy curls swept to the side for an effortlessly chic look while Joey donned a black tulle crop top adorned with roses and a matching midi skirt.
"A Family Affair" promises to deliver a heartwarming yet comedic take on romance and identity, making it a must-watch. The film will premiere on Netflix on June 28.
