Bebe Rexha didn't hold back when responding to a request for social media collaboration with G-Eazy, airing past grievances and highlighting their complicated history.

AceShowbiz - Pop singer Bebe Rexha recently took to Instagram to publicly address former collaborator G-Eazy, sharing some harsh words about their past relationship. In her Instagram Stories, Rexha posted a screenshot from a group chat where someone from his team inquired if she would be interested in creating social content with G-Eazy in New York, referencing their 2015 hit "Me, Myself & I."

"@g_eazy you have my number," Rexha wrote over the screenshot. "Why don't you text me and ask me yourself you stuck up ungrateful loser. You're lucky people are liking you again. Cause I could go in on all the s***ty things you've done and how you treated me after giving you your only real hit. Btw the answer is no. Hope you good."

The confrontation reveals tension that has simmered since their 2015 collaboration. "Me, Myself & I" was the lead single off G-Eazy's sophomore album "When It's Dark Out" and became his second-highest charting single on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 7.

In 2018, Rexha already hinted at possible issues with G-Eazy during an episode of "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen." When asked if she was still on good terms with the rapper after he performed their duet "Me, Myself & I" at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards with Britney Spears instead of her, Rexha shared her frustration.

"I am still tight with G-Eazy. I didn't know about the performance, to be honest," she said. "I found it out last minute because they were scared I wasn't going to clear it, because that was bull… But I was a little shocked by him because I thought that he would let me know and I was upset by it, but then I got to meet Britney and take pictures with her so that made everything way better and I loved it. She's my idol, you know what I mean?"

"I showed up at the awards," she continued, "and imagine you're part of a song, and then I was just there and in the audience and they didn't even let me know, so all I hear is, 'Woo, it's just me.' And it's on stage and I wish I would have known out of respect from G. But then I got a picture with Britney so I was happy."

While the exact reasons for Rexha's recent social media outburst remain unclear, it's evident that the pop star feels aggrieved by past interactions with G-Eazy. Attempts to reach representatives for both artists for comment have gone unanswered.
