AceShowbiz - Andy Cohen claims Hilaria Baldwin almost joined the "Real Housewives" franchise. In a new podcast interview, Andy spills that the wife of Alec Baldwin was in talks for a possible "Real Housewives" gig before the family decided to go with a TLC series.

Andy makes the revelation during her appearance on Kelly Ripa's podcast, SiriusXM's "Let's Talk Off Camera". "Well, we actually had a discussion with her a little while ago about that," Andy tells the host in a preview for the upcoming Wednesday, June 5 episode, according to Entertainment Tonight.

The Bravo honcho, however, clarifies the extent of the talks. He says that the conversation with Hilaria was "exploratory" and "didn't go much further" than their initial chat. Despite that, the "Watch What Happens Live" host adds that it's "an interesting" idea to have the yoga instructor join one of the "Real Housewives" franchises.

The episode also sees Kelly asks if Andy is interested in creating a Hilaria-focused spin-off. "Keeping Up With the Baldwins. Keeping Up With the Baldwinitos," Andy muses. Andy, however, points out that Alec would want to control how his family is portrayed, saying, "I wonder how Alec would feel about surrendering control of his portrayal to someone else."

The new revelation comes after Alec and Hilaria announced their family reality TV series, titled "The Baldwins", on Tuesday. The couple teased the forthcoming TLC series in a joint Instagram post where "The Boss Baby" star told his followers, "We're inviting you into our home to experience the ups and downs, the good, the bad, the wild and the crazy." He added, "Home is the place we love to be most."

At the end of the video, Hilari and Alec posed alongside their 7 children together on a sofa. "We are the Baldwins!" they all shouted. The "Rust" star went on adding, "And we're coming to TLC! God help you all!"
