AceShowbiz - Another of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's children has hinted at the ongoing family tensions between the warring exes. Shiloh, who primarily lives with her mother, seemingly wants to cut ties with her biological father by dropping his last name following years of alleged estrangement.
Per TMZ's report, the talented dancer has filed paperwork requesting a legal name change to drop "Pitt" from her moniker and simply go with "Shiloh Jolie" as her new name. Interestingly, she made the bold move as soon as she has become legally adult. Shiloh filed the doc on Monday, May 27, which happens to be her 18th birthday and Memorial Day.
As noted by the news outlet, Shiloh's request for the name change has yet to be granted, but it's only a mater of time before it becomes official.
Shiloh is following in the footsteps of her younger sister Vivienne, who reportedly ditched her father's last name for an Angelina-produced Broadway musical she was recently working on as a personal assistant. The 15-year-old was credited as Vivienne Jolie on a playbill for the musical "The Outsiders".
Of the teen's decision to ditch her father's last name, a source told RadarOnline.com, "It's heartbreaking." The source added, "The implication is that they want nothing to do with Brad."
Previously, the former couple's other daughter, Zahara, also snubbed her famous father during a sorority ceremony at Spelman College. In a video which went viral in November 2023, the college student introduced herself as "Zahara Marley Jolie" when joining the Alpha Kappa Alpha organization.
Wearing a black midi dress, Zahara said, "My name is Zahara Marley Jolie," while shaking her hair and performing a series of moves. "Coming all the way from the Golden State in the city that is full of angels, Los Angeles, California ... I am this line's number seven," she continued to loud cheers from her peers, before returning to her line.
