The Canadian hip-hop artist and the songstress' collaboration in her forthcoming record, which is titled 'C,XOXO', promises exciting new tracks and has fans buzzing.

AceShowbiz - Grammy-nominated pop artist Camila Cabello has roped in Canadian superstar Drake for two tracks on her much-anticipated new album, "C,XOXO", scheduled to drop on June 28. The exciting revelation came during a recent Billboard interview, where Cabello shared insights about their fruitful collaboration and its origins in Turks & Caicos.

Their work trip quickly sparked dating rumors when videos of them riding jet skis during the excursion went viral. However, Cabello clarified the nature of their relationship, emphasizing her professional respect and admiration for Drake. "He's the f**king GOAT, so it felt like shooting for the stars," she explained, recounting their initial interaction via Instagram where she shared her album with Drake when she felt ready.

One of the featured tracks, "Hot Uptown", was inspired by the dynamic city vibes of Miami, which Drake pitched to Cabello during their collaborative sessions. "He had this idea of a song called 'Hot Uptown', and it just felt like I was in the city. I was in Miami," Cabello elaborated. To her, the collaboration was more than a transactional agreement; it came from a place of mutual respect and shared passion for music.

In addition to "Hot Uptown", Drake contributed a solo interlude titled "Uuugly", which follows the former track on the album. "Why does he have his own song? Because selfishly, I just want to hear Drake on my own album ... I love that for me, it's like that rebellious mood. Who says I can't do that? It's Drake talking his s**t," Cabello said, underlining her excitement and intention to defy conventional expectations.

Cabello first discussed the Turks & Caicos trip on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, where she revealed how Drake's music had influenced her writing process. "I love him so much and I really listened to him a lot during my writing process for my album," she said. "And I really felt like he would like my album." Their creative bond has indeed brought forth some of the album's most anticipated tracks.

Besides Drake, "C,XOXO" will also feature other notable collaborators including Playboi Carti, Lil Nas X and the City Girls. As the release date approaches, fans are eagerly awaiting what promises to be one of Cabello's most dynamic projects yet. Don't miss it when it drops on June 28.
