On Sunday, May 26, the 70-year-old fashion designer treated social media users to a short clip from her interview with Vogue magazine. Making use of her Instagram page, she uploaded the video in which she admitted to feeling emotional when she talked about the matter.

In the footage, Tina could be heard saying, "Beyonce was very shy and she got bullied a bit, but the day she stood up for someone, she didn't stand up for herself but she stood up for them." She then admitted, "I'm getting emotional just talking about it," before adding, "And I couldn't have been more proud of her."

The entrepreneur went on to mention Queen Bey's little sister Solange Knowles, "Her signing petition in school." She explained, "She was only in fifth grade and she was out getting petitions signed, so she's always been an activist."

Not stopping there, Tina further discussed Beyonce's former fellow Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland. She shared, "Kelly was always this kid that tried to protect everybody." She then elaborated, "I have a memory of her and her best friend Barbara and [Kelly] just being this little mediator and peace maker."

Along with the video, Tina wrote in the caption of the post, "Each child is different! But all so special. I believe kids are born with their personalities. My three girls All handled things very differently." She continued, "Learn their personalities and respect the individuality."

The philanthropist additionally told social media users to "never compare the negatives." Instead, she encouraged others to "always praise the positive differences and pay attention to the things that you can brag on about them."
