The 25-year-old model/social media personality and her 30-year-old husband recently welcomed their daughter on Monday, May 20. The wedded couple kept the happy news under tight wraps for a few days before breaking the news on Friday, May 24.
Making use of her social media page, Sofia uploaded an adorable photo featuring her and Elliot's baby girl. The picture captured the new parents holding their newborn's feet. The black-and-white snap saw details of their palms and the baby's little fingers.
Along with the photo, the sister of Nicole Richie offered social media users details of her daughter's birth, including the name and date. In the caption of the new Instagram post, she wrote, "Eloise Samantha Grainge. 5•20•24 best day of my life," adding two white heart emojis.
Sofia and Elliot appeared to have intentionally picked the name Samantha for their baby girl to honor his late mother, whose name was Samantha Berg. Samantha passed away back in 2007 after suffering from complications during childbirth. She was in a coma until she took her last breath.
Since announcing the birth of Eloise on Instagram, Sofia and Elliot have been showered with love by many, including their family members. Among those was Sofia's older sister Nicole, who expressed her love for Eloise. In the comments section of the Friday post, Nicole exclaimed, "I now have a new favorite EG. sorry Elliot," adding a red and pink heart emoji. She was making a reference to Eloise and Elliot's initials.
Sofia and Elliot's journey to parenthood has been both exciting and filled with anticipation. The model first revealed her pregnancy in January during an interview with Vogue, where she also disclosed that they were expecting a baby girl, which Sofia has always dreamed of. As for Elliot, who is known for being sensitive and having several sisters, he was equally thrilled.
