AceShowbiz - Billie Eilish proved that there is no bad blood between her and ex Jesse Rutherford. In a new interview, the "Happier Than Ever" songstress called The Neighbourhood frontman one of her "favorite people."
The 22-year-old spoke about her former boyfriend when sitting down with Rolling Stone. "That's my guy, truly one of my favorite people in the world," she said in a previously unpublished snippet from her April cover story, posted by the outlet for the first time on Friday, May 17.
Billie went on to note that she doesn't plan to be in a relationship in the near future. "I plan on never dating again," she quipped. "That's not true, obviously. But no, I don't see myself being serious with anyone until I find someone that really feels right to me, and that is not interesting to me right now."
Billie and Jesse were rumored to be dating in mid-October 2022 when they were spotted holding hands at a "Halloween Horror Nights" event in Universal Studios. They went public with their romance in in the following month.
The two's age gap has since been a hot topic in the sphere of celebrity dating. The exes, however, were unbothered by it.
Defending Billie's relationship with Jesse was her brother FINNEAS. "I want my sister to be happy and safe and she is a 21 year old adult perfectly entitled to make her own life decisions," he declared.
The "Bad Guy" singer and the rocker, however, called it quits in early 2023 after months of dating. "We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and remain good friends," their representatives said in a statement. Shutting down infidelity rumors, the reps added, "All cheating rumors are false. Both are currently single."
