Dan Schneider Denies 'All That' Star Lori Beth Denberg's 'Exaggerated' Phone Sex Claims

The actress/comedian claimed in a recent report that the head writer of 'All That' played her some porn and initiated phone sex during their 'weird, abusive' relationship.

AceShowbiz - Dan Schneider has spoken out after "All That" star Lori Beth Denberg came forward with sexual harassment allegations against him. In a statement, the head writer of the series vehemently denied the claims, calling them "wildly exaggerated."

Speaking to Business Insider and Variety on Tuesday, May 14, Dan labeled Lori's accusations "wildly exaggerated and, in most cases, false." He added, "As I have previously stated, there were times, particularly in the early years of my career, that I made mistakes and exhibited poor judgment as a leader."

He went on to say, "If I did that with respect to Lori Beth, I sincerely apologize to her. But I cannot apologize for things I did not do."

Dan also pointed out that the writer of the Business Insider report, Kate Taylor, was also an executive producer on "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV". "[The fact she] would pursue allegations regarding what may have happened between adults nearly thirty years ago - only a week after I filed a defamation lawsuit accusing 'Quiet on Set' of being intentionally false and misleading - seems more than coincidental," he said.

In a report by Business Insider, Lori claimed that her relationship with Schneider turned sexual when she was around 19. The actress/comedian, who was 17 when she was cast on "All That", alleged that Dan would discuss sexual topics with her over the phone and initiate phone sex with her in one instance.

According to Lori, she would sleep over at Dan's house and they would give each other massages. In one incident, he allegedly fondled her breasts and put his mouth on them after he won a bet involving "Jeopardy!". Lori also claimed that Dan would sometimes also play porn on his computer.

"I couldn't have been more green," Denberg said, calling their relationship "weird, abusive friendship." She added, "I couldn't have been more vulnerable."

She also recalled when Dan yelled at her for throwing him a piece of bread. She claimed that she did after Dan asked fellow writers and crew members during dinner if they thought Lori's breasts were different sizes. "It was one of those turns that was just really upsetting and scary," she shared. "Everyone else seemed to completely blow it off."
