Only one day after a drive-by shooting occurred at Drizzy's Toronto mansion, it is reported that a man got arrested outside the same property for attempted break-in.

AceShowbiz - Drake appeared to have a lot of enemies. Only one day after Drizzy's security guard got shot, an intruder got arrested for attempting to break into the "Hotline Bling" hitmaker's house in Toronto.

On Wednesday, May 8, it was reported that a man was apprehended by police outside the Canadian hip-hop artist's house. Furthermore, the Toronto Police confirmed the incident in a statement to a number of media outlets. "Officers were called after a person attempted to gain access to the property. The person was apprehended under the Mental Health Act," the statement read.

Later on, more details about the incident were revealed via X, formerly known as Twitter. "A source with inside knowledge clarifies to me today's security incident that a man tried to gain access to the property at the gates. There was an altercation, and Drake's security held him until police arrived," a tweet read.

The attempted entry came only one day after Drake's security guard was shot outside the same property, which is located in Bridle Path. A shooting occurred around 2 A.M. on Tuesday at Drake's Park Lane Circle residence. The rapper's security guard was found unconscious with a gunshot wound on his upper chest. As of Tuesday night, the security guard remains in serious condition following an immediate surgery.

In the wake of the shocking incident, inspector Paul Krawczyk issued a statement at a news conference, "That person was working apparently as a security guard at the residence. He was standing outside the gates in front of the residence when the shooting occurred."

It remains unclear if Drizzy was at the property during the shooting. However, DJ Akademiks has shared an update on the spitter's condition on a Twitch livestream. "I have spoken with Drake, and he's okay. You know, he said he's good. Nothing more than that, nothing less," he said.

"Obviously, you know, there's someone who's probably still battling for their life, and got shot at his house," the disc jockey continued, referring to the injured security guard. "But if you're wondering [about] Drake himself, he's fine and I think that's short and sweet."
