AceShowbiz - Chris Hemsworth showed a sweet gesture during a recent day out with Elsa Pataky. The "Thor: The Dark World" actor held an umbrella to keep himself and the "Interceptor" actress dry while strolling around rainy New York City.

On Sunday, May 5, the 40-year-old actor and his 47-year-old actress wife were out and about in the Big Apple. The rain did not stop them from enjoying the city by taking a walk around on the streets on the Upper East Side. The wedded couple was making their way to Serafina Fabulous Pizza to grab lunch together.

In pictures making their rounds online, Chris was spotted holding a black umbrella with one of his hands as he kept Elsa close to him. He was photographed wrapping his arm around her shoulders, seemingly making sure that she did not get wet from the raindrops.

In the meantime, Elsa was putting her hand on his lower back while walking close to her husband. The two looked in good spirits throughout the rainy afternoon. They even stopped for a moment to strike a pose for a paparazzo. The perfect pair also flashed their radiant smiles at the camera.

For the rainy day out, Chris kept his body warm in a white tee, a long-sleeved beige shirt and a black jacket. The "Men in Black: International" actor completed the look with a pair of black denim pants, matching sneakers, which featured white soles and black laces, brown-tinted sunglasses as well as a black hat.

As for Elsa, "The Fate of the Furious" actress went with an all-black ensemble. She rocked a long-sleeved black top, which came with gold buttons and matching embellishments, a pair of matching jeans and matching high boots.

Elsa kept her belongings in a tiny black quilted bag that had a gold chain strap. She also put on a pair of black shades, simple earrings and rings to enhance the look. In addition, she styled her long blond hair in a sleek high ponytail.
