The redaction comes after Baron Cohen's attorneys threatened to sue for allegations that were deemed provably false.

Wilson's memoir, which details her personal struggles, included an account of her experiences on the set of the 2016 film "The Brothers Grimsby", where she alleges Baron Cohen asked her to perform nudity and sexual acts. Baron Cohen's camp has vehemently denied Wilson's claims.

A representative for Harper Collins confirmed the redaction, stating that they are "redacting most of one page with some other small redactions and an explanatory note." The U.K. edition of the book will include the redactions, while the U.S. edition remains unaffected.

Baron Cohen's statement expressed vindication and emphasized the legal consequences of printing falsehoods, especially in the U.K. and Australia. He asserted that Wilson's account had been contradicted by "extensive detailed evidence" and was a "shameful and failed effort to sell books."
