Near the end of the surprise performance, the 'Men in Black' actor has his crew members drag the 'Yo Te Lo Dije' singer off the stage before he pulls out a 'Neuralyzer.'

AceShowbiz - Will Smith stole the show during J Balvin's set at the 2024 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. The actor portraying James Edwards or Agent J in the "Men in Black" film franchise took the stage with the "Yo Te Lo Dije" singer for a surprise performance of "Men in Black".

On Sunday, April 14, the 55-year-old actor entertained festivalgoers at the music event, which has been held since Friday, April 12 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, as a surprise performer during Balvin's UFO-themed set. He appeared on the stage as he exclaimed, "Coachella!"

Improvising the lyrics of the "Men in Black" song, Smith rapped, "Here come the MIB, here come the MIB/ Nah, nah, nah/ The good guys dress in black, remember that/ Just in case we ever face to face and make contact/ The title held by me, MIB/ Means what you think you saw, you did not see."

Smith spitted, "So don't blink be what was there is now gone/ Black suits with the black Ray Bans on/ Walk in shadow, move in silence/ Guard against extra-terrestrial violence/ But yo we ain't on no government list/ We straight don't exist, no names and no fingerprints/ Saw somethin' strange, watch your back/ 'Cause you never quite know where the MIB's is at."

At one point, Smith and Balvin showed off their skills in dancing. They moved their bodies to the sides several times as Smith sang, "Come on, let me see ya just slide with me/ Just slide with me (slide, slide)/ Just slide with me (slide, slide)/ Come on, let me see ya talk a walk with me/ Just walk with me (walk with me)/ Take a walk with me/ Come on and make your neck work/ Now freeze (uh-huh-huh-ha)."

Near the end of the performance, Balvin was dragged by a number of unidentified people, who appeared to be Smith's crew members, to get off the stage. Smith later pulled out a "Neuralyzer," the famous memory-eraser device from the movie.

For the performance, Smith channeled his character in the "Men in Black" movie. He sported a white button-up shirt under a black suit, a pair of long black tailored pants and matching shoes. He also covered his eyes with a pair of black sunglasses.
