A little over one month before releasing her third studio album, the 'What Was I Made For?' hitmaker plays a 14-second snippet of the song and spills 'Lunch' music video.

AceShowbiz - Billie Eilish has teased one of her songs from her third studio album. A little over one month before releasing "Hit Me Hard and Soft", the "What Was I Made For?" hitmaker played a snippet of "Chihiro", which will be featured in the upcoming record.

On Friday, April 12, a video of the 22-year-old Oscar-winning songstress' interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music's YouTube show was released. During the virtual chat, she and the host were talking about her forthcoming set.

At one point, Zane complained for not getting Billie's permission to play anything from the album. He said, "It's kind of weird that we can't play anything though." In response, Billie left him surprised by saying, "It's definitely weird [to break that tradition]. I mean I have like 14 seconds I could play," before sending him the snippet.

In the 14-second recording, Billie, who also promised that there will be a music video for "Lunch" from her third studio album, could be heard singing, "Today, maybe tomorrow/ Open the door for me/ I know you said before/ You can't cope with it no more."

During the chat, Billie also said about the album, "Every time you put anything out, it feels like your nudes leaked a little bit. I think this one specifically is like that. Something that FINNEAS and I said to a couple of people when we started to play it for people is we kind of made the album that if somebody had said, 'I want you to make an album and no one is going to hear it.' "

" 'You don't have to worry about anyone's ears or opinions or anything at all,' " the nine-time Grammy winner explained. " 'It's in your contract to make an album but no one can hear it.' We pretty much made that album. We made that album without much thought of other people."

Billie is slated to release "Hit Me Hard and Soft" on May 17. Recently, the "Ocean Eyes" songstress blasted Rolling Stone for leaking the tracklist of the set, which reportedly will feature songs titled "Skinny", "Lunch", "Chihiro", "Birds of a Feather", "Wildflower", "The Greatest", "L'Amour De Ma Vie", "The Diner", "Bittersuite" and "Blue".
