The City Girls member calls the copyright infringement accusations against her 'lame' after she's handed legal papers over 'Act Bad' trademark dispute in Houston.

AceShowbiz - On Saturday, April 6, Yung Miami, P. Diddy's girlfriend and member of the City Girls rap duo, was served legal papers at a pool party event in Houston. The lawsuit stemmed from allegations of copyright infringement related to the phrase "Act Bad."

According to a video posted on Instagram, a process server approached Yung Miami at the Sekai Night & Day venue. He revealed that he had been hired by Charlie Cee (real name Charles Kenyatta Jr.), who claims ownership of the "Act Bad" trademark. Cee alleges that Yung Miami has used the phrase on merchandise without his permission.

In a federal lawsuit filed in New York court, Cee claims to be the sole owner of Act Bad Entertainment and the "Act Bad" trademark. He alleges that Yung Miami and Diddy have used the mark on songs, merchandise, and marketing materials without his consent. Cee is seeking $10 million in damages and a court order prohibiting Yung Miami from continuing to use the mark.

Yung Miami responded to the incident on X or formerly known as Twitter, expressing frustration over the lawsuit. "Tryna serve me some paper over MERCH that I'm not selling is LAME!!!" she tweeted.

The legal issue comes amidst ongoing controversies surrounding Diddy. Yung Miami was named in a $30 million lawsuit filed by Lil Rod for alleged sexual harassment, which she and Diddy's lawyer have denied.

Despite the legal challenges, Yung Miami has continued her music career, recently collaborating with Skilla Baby. She has yet to publicly address the copyright infringement lawsuit or the allegations against Diddy.

Yung Miami's fans are monitoring the situation, expressing support and speculating on her response to the legal battle. It remains to be seen how she will handle these issues as her legal team navigates the proceedings.
