Beyonce Scores Eighth No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 Chart With 'Cowboy Carter'

Only a little over one week after releasing her country album, the 'Texas Hold 'Em' hitmaker's latest record makes it to debut atop the tally with 407,000 units.

AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles appeared to have proven that she has "always been country." Only a little over one week after releasing "Cowboy Carter", the "Texas Hold 'Em" hitmaker scores her eighth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with the country album.

In the chart dated April 13, the 42-year-old superstar's latest record, which was released on March 29, debuts atop the tally. The set earns 407,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending April 4, according to Luminate.

Billboard reports that the "Cowboy Carter" album's SEA units comprise 232,000 or equaling 300.41 million on-demand official streams of all 22 tracks in the album. Meanwhile, traditional album sales comprise 168,000 and TEA units comprise 7,000.

Sitting at No. 2 is Future and Metro Boomin's collaborative album titled "We Don't Trust You", which slips after making its debut atop the chart. It earns 131,000 equivalent album units. In contrast, Morgan Wallen's "One Thing at a Time" ascends to No. 3 from No. 4 with 69,000 equivalent album units. Meanwhile, Ariana Grande's "Eternal Sunshine" slightly falls to No. 4 from No. 3 with 58,000 equivalent album units.

"Eternal Sunshine" is followed by J-Hope's "Hope On the Street, Vol. 1", which debuts at No. 5 after earning 50,000 equivalent album units. Olivia Rodrigo's "Guts" dips to No. 6 from No. 2 as it earns 49,000 equivalent album units. Similarly, Noah Kahan's "Stick Season" drops to No. 7 from No. 5 with 44,000 equivalent album units.

Landing at No. 8 is Taylor Swift's "Lover", which descends from No. 7 after earning 40,000 equivalent album units. Furthermore, SZA's "SOS" dips to No. 9 from No. 6 as it earns 39,000 equivalent album units. In addition, Zach Bryan's self-titled album falls to No. 10 from No. 8 with nearly 39,000 equivalent album units earned.
