AceShowbiz - Parker McCollum and Brittney Spencer have joined forces to entertain attendees at the 2024 CMT Music Awards. The "To Be Loved by You" singer and the "Wake Me Up (A Fever Dream)" songstress offered a duet performance of "Burn It Down" at the event.

On Sunday, April 7, the two country stars attended the annual award show, which was held at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. During the ceremony, they stepped on a stage to sing "Burn It Down", which he released in 2023.

The performance began with Parker singing alone on the stage while a number of band members played their instruments. "Goodbye, strung out on the lawn/ The line between us was drawn/ All I can see is you're gone and you left me here/ With this house on this ground, burn it down," he sang.

Brittney then appeared on the stage and approached Parker, prompting audience members to cheer. Holding a gold microphone in one of her hands, she sang, "I'll leave my memories inside/ In that bed we loved in all night/ Every word, every fight, every feeling/ Stone cold, not a sound."

While standing close next to each other, Parker and Brittney simultaneously sang, "Burn it down 'til it's ashes and smoke/ Burn it down to the smolderin' coals/ Burn it down 'til I don't want you no more/ Baby, burn it down."

For the performance, Parker opted to wear a casual ensemble, consisting of a short-sleeved black tee, a pair of long dark blue denim pants and dark brown boots. While carrying a brown guitar, he also rocked gold necklaces and a black baseball hat.

As for Brittney, the songstress looked stunning in a long red bodysuit, which featured a very low-cut design and two short sleeves. She accessorized herself with gold bracelets, matching ring and necklace. In addition, her long dark-colored hair cascaded down her back and was styled in waves.

Following their duet performance, Parker and Brittney received supportive messages from social media users. On X, formerly known as Twitter, one in particular praised, "Her voice is beautiful. Definitely gave that song some fire." Similarly, another marveled, "THEY ATE THAT UPPP." A third exclaimed, "Can they become a duo? cause damn!" A fourth exclaimed, "Such an awesome performance."
