While the wife of former U.S. president Barack Obama calls Bey a 'history-maker,' the former professional basketball player deems the 'Texas Hold 'Em' hitmaker a 'living icon.'

AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles continued receiving supportive messages from public figures following the release of her country album. After unleashing "Cowboy Carter", the "Break My Soul" hitmaker was showered with praise by Michelle Obama and Magic Johnson.

On Tuesday, April 2, Michelle publicly called Queen Bey a "history-maker" via Instagram. In the caption of her new post, she wrote, "@Beyonce, you are a record-breaker and history-maker. With Cowboy Carter, you have changed the game once again by helping redefine a music genre and transform our culture. I am so proud of you!"

The wife of former U.S. president Barack Obama went on to say, "Cowboy Carter is a reminder that despite everything we've been through to be heard, seen, and recognized, we can still dance, sing, and be who we are unapologetically. This album reminds us that we ALL have power."

"There's power in our history, in our joy, and in our votes, and we can each use our own gifts and talents to make our voices heard on the issues that matter most to us," she continued. She further encouraged social media users to "keep the faith" and "VOTE!"

Similarly, former professional basketball player Magic took to Instagram to deem Beyonce "a living icon." On Friday, March 29, he penned, "Beyonce - It's only fitting that I recognize a living icon as the world tunes in to listen to your newest album, 'Cowboy Carter', which just dropped today!"

The entrepreneur additionally gushed, "You are truly a multifaceted force, with dominating presences as a singer, songwriter, director, actress, record producer, and entrepreneur!" He added, "You are women's history! Just like I say Michael Jackson is the greatest male entertainer of all time, you are the greatest female entertainer of all time."

The praises came after Beyonce dropped "Cowboy Carter" earlier on Friday. Shortly after launching the 27-track record, she broke a number of streaming records with the set. Among them was Spotify's most-streamed album in a single day so far in 2024.
